Our Objective
Rooted in the wisdom of our ancestors, we create with purpose in a world shaped by colonial and capitalist systems. Our work honours Mi’kmaq traditions while transforming lived experience, language and resistance into wearable art. Each piece tells a story of resilience, survival, and the collective strength we carry as a community.
This journey is about more than creating clothing. It is about uplifting our communities, reclaiming autonomy, and supporting one another as we move toward collective thriving. We carry forward the struggles and teachings of those who came before us, standing firm in our responsibility to protect our lands, waters, and the intricate web of life that sustains us all.
We believe in a future grounded in balance, respect, and interconnectedness where creativity becomes a bridge between the physical and the spiritual, and where justice and equity are not aspirations but lived realities. Through our art, we invite others to imagine and help build a world free from oppression.
May our endeavours ignite the flames of hope in others, inspiring them to join the fray and carve out a future where every soul can bask in the splendour of this magnificent world.
And so it is.
